Direct AXA Car Insurance is a brand name for the AXA group. AXA Insurance is the third largest general insurer in the UK. In 2001, the company generated revenues of £1,619m. The company acquired Guardian Royal Exchange Group in May 1999.

NOTE: AXA Car Insurance can no longer be obtained directly online from the insurer. Quotes for Car Insurance from AXA however can be requested via the RAC Car Insurance wizard.
